We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase from Kawaii Unicorn. If you are not happy with your order, we offer returns and refunds in accordance with the terms outlined below.

This Return & Refund Policy applies to all products purchased through our website, kawaii-unicorn.com. By making a purchase, you agree to the terms of this policy.

This policy should be read in conjunction with our Shipping Policy and our Terms of Service.

 

2. Return Eligibility

2.1 Return Window

You may request a return within 14 days of receiving your order. The return window begins on the date of delivery as indicated by the carrier’s tracking information.

 

2.2 Conditions for Return

To be eligible for a return, the following conditions must be met:

        The item must be unused, unworn, unwashed, and in the same condition as when you received it.

        The item must be in its original packaging, including all tags, labels, and accessories.

        You must provide proof of purchase (order confirmation email or order number).

3. How to Request a Return

To initiate a return, please follow these steps:

 

1.     Contact us: Send an email to contact@kawaii-unicorn.com with the subject line “Return Request — [Your Order Number].” Include your order number, the item(s) you wish to return, and the reason for your return.

2.     Wait for approval: Our customer service team will review your request and respond within 48 hours with a return authorization and shipping instructions.

3.     Ship the item: Once approved, carefully package the item in its original packaging and ship it to the address provided in our return authorization email.

4.     Confirmation: Once we receive and inspect your returned item, we will send you an email confirming receipt and notifying you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

 

IMPORTANT

Please do not ship returns to any address without first obtaining a return authorization from our team. Returns sent without prior authorization may not be processed. Do not return items directly to the manufacturer.

We recommend using a trackable shipping method for all returns. Kawaii Unicorn is not responsible for return packages that are lost in transit without tracking information.

 

5. Refunds

5.1 Refund Processing

Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you by email of the status of your refund.

Approved refunds are processed within 5 to 10 business days. The refund will be credited to your original payment method (credit card, debit card, or PayPal).

Please note that your bank or payment provider may take an additional 5 to 10 business days to reflect the refund in your account after we have processed it.

Original shipping costs are non-refundable, except in cases where the return is due to our error (defective item, wrong item shipped, or item not as described).

5.3 Late or Missing Refunds

If you have not received your refund within 15 business days of our confirmation email, please take the following steps:

        Check your bank account or credit card statement again.

        Contact your credit card company or bank, as processing times vary.

        If you have completed these steps and still have not received your refund, contact us at contact@kawaii-unicorn.com.

 

6. Exchanges

We offer exchanges for defective or damaged items only. If you received a defective or damaged item and would like to exchange it for the same product, please contact us at contact@kawaii-unicorn.com with your order number and photos of the defect or damage.

For size exchanges on clothing items, we recommend returning the item for a refund and placing a new order for the correct size. This ensures the fastest turnaround time.

 

7. Damaged or Defective Items

If you receive an item that is damaged, defective, or materially different from its description on our Site, please contact us within 7 days of delivery at contact@kawaii-unicorn.com. Please include:

        Your order number.

        A clear description of the issue.

        Photos of the damaged or defective item (and packaging, if applicable).

 

Upon review, we will offer you one of the following resolutions:

        Full replacement: We will send you a new item at no additional cost.

        Full refund: We will refund the full purchase price to your original payment method.

        Partial refund or store credit: In certain cases, we may offer a partial refund or store credit if the issue is minor and does not significantly affect the product’s use.

 

You will not be required to return the damaged or defective item unless we specifically request it, in which case we will cover all return shipping costs.

 

8. Gifts

If the item was marked as a gift at the time of purchase and was shipped directly to you, you will receive a store credit for the value of the returned item. The store credit will be issued via email once we receive and process your return.

If the item was not marked as a gift, or if the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves before giving it to you, the refund will be issued to the original purchaser’s payment method.

 

9. Order Cancellations

If you wish to cancel your order, please contact us as soon as possible at contact@kawaii-unicorn.com.

        Before dispatch: We can cancel your order and issue a full refund.

        After dispatch: The order cannot be canceled. You will need to wait for delivery and then follow the return process described in this policy.
